Effectively navigating change and human performance

About

Passion. Delivery. Results.

History

Doug Eastman has worked both internally and externally as a change strategy expert for boutique and global consulting firms, small business start ups, and large national organizations. He knows how to get sustainable results and has built new practices throughout his career from the ground up in several companies and turned them into powerhouses - most recently he established a go-to national shared service in change management, technology adoption, and user experience, while also serving as a chief people officer within a $76B organization.

Over the years, he has been eager to cultivate his own practice; one that would effectively intersect his expertise with his interests and allow him to continue his passion for helping others realize their visions and effectively tackle their business objectives through people-related strategies and specialized human capital services. He internalizes his clients’ challenges and needs as his own, and believes that client expectations should be exceeded. He firmly embraces the notion that the partnership experience with his clients is as important as the work itself. This is the energy and mindset that sets him apart from the rest, because he understands that he is not successful unless his clients are successful.

Change Pro is on a mission to drive workplace transformation through people-focused growth strategies and seamless delivery of practical, targeted and cost effective solutions… One organization at a time.

Doug Eastman, PhD

A passion for helping others defined Doug’s entire life as a service-oriented professional. He grew up coaching others, which translated into a Bachelor of Arts in psychology from The Ohio State University, then a Masters of Arts in psychology from Pepperdine University. It wasn’t until Doug served as an Inward Bound ropes course instructor that he realized his interests and skills are best leveraged solving workplace challenges. This revelation drove Doug to obtain his Doctor of Philosophy in Organizational Psychology from CSPP, now Alliant University, which expanded his focus to organizational growth and culture change.

Doug’s leadership experiences have afforded him countless opportunities to transform companies in sustainable ways through people-focused strategies and methods. He restructured a start up that was recognized as a fastest growing company in NE Ohio, co-authored a best-selling book on effective change strategies, spoke internationally, taught master’s level graduate courses, created robust technology adoption strategies and advised clients how to operationalize change for two of the nation’s largest electronic medical record systems to date, launched best practice talent development programs, and has a strong track record for hiring and developing high performing leaders and teams.

As a life-long learner, Doug continues to stay ahead of the industry and enjoys furthering his knowledge and exposure through a variety of executive level education and certification courses at MIT, Stanford University, University of Berkeley, and Case Western Reserve University.
